All the staff, students and governors at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College are thrilled with this year’s GCSE results. An impressive 82% gained 5 or more A*- C grades with a notable 15% of the grades being A * and As. The number of students gaining A* and As across all subjects was really excellent and bucks the national trend. An impressive number of students also gained Distinction* awards for our BTEC vocational courses.”
In other subjects 100% of PE, Design and Technology Textiles, Business Studies and ICT students passed with flying colours. Broadoak was one of only 10 schools in the UK to be part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Learning Partnership Network. The College has credited being part of this prestigious programme as having such a positive influence on their English results, with 81% of children gaining an A* to C in English Literature.
