Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College was delighted to open the new dining room extension today. The school has built the dining room extension following feedback from the School Council who highlighted a need for more internal eating space. The new dining room extension has been in construction since July 2016, and students were able to use the new space for the first time today.
The building has been completed by the construction firm Wrencon and overseen by the Inspired Partnership, both of whom have worked very hard to ensure the building was completed on time. The new area has significantly increased capacity for students to sit and eat their food inside, and is a fantastic addition to the school premises.
Today, as a reward for their work on the new building project, the School Council were treated to a pizza lunch in the new dining room, along with Ms Pritchard, Headteacher, and Mrs Betts, who runs the Student Council.
