Staff and students at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College got involved with Wear Red Day a national event organised by Show Racism the Red Card. Staff scoured their wardrobes to wear red for the day to show support for this important anti-racism message. Students designed their own red cards and carried them in their blazer pockets to show their support.
Ms Gundry, Deputy Headteacher said “inclusion and community are core values for Broadoak and we are delighted to show support for Wear Red Day.”
Black History Month lessons and assemblies have also supported the delivery of this crucial message that all at Broadoak stand up to racism and other forms of prejudicial behaviour.
